PC Computers Vs Apple Computers Which Is The Best
It has been debated over the past few decades whether the PC or Apple is the best computer choice. Although there is no clear cut winner here is a list of some features of each system.
The first sucessful personal computer to feature both the mouse and (GUI) graphical user interface was Apple in 1984. Microsoft introduced their model a year later in 1995, due to growing interest in GUI systems. Apple was successul in the market in the 1980′s, however sales declined in the 90′s, when most users in the market switched to an IBM PC which ran off Microsoft Operating systems.
Overall PC’s are more successful in the marketplace, due to the Microsoft Operating System which the world has become familiar with using. Due to the fact that the operating system is compatible with most PC models on the market, it is the front-runner. Apple only designs it’s operating system to be compatible with the brand’s hardware and software, making it less accessible to the market, and isn’t compatible with most software on the market.
For the basic fact that Microsoft’s operating system is compatible with almost all PCs on the market, it has a much larger market share at 91, to Apple’s approximate 5 share in the market. The mere fact that it’s compatible and works with everything makes it the market giant.
The choice of PC vs Apple is really a personal one to the consumer at the end of the day. The fact that PCs are more widely sold, and used by more consumers is due to the fact that they are compatible with the operating system most users are used to using. The choice is up to the consumer in the end, and is a personal style choice; there really is no “Better” option, it all depends on the consumer.
